Bordo’s “Beauty Rediscovers . . .” is available in Canvas’s Modules’ Course Materials section at or near the top. Feel free to use the Bordo PPT noted in class as your read (in the Modules’s Course Materials).
On the first page, pick at least 2 passages that you can examine, discussing its meaning and relevance to the larger work or perhaps you can discuss how the passage was difficult to comprehend
On the second page, create 5 questions(including answers ) that you would address if you were assigned to present the reading to the class. Try to center the questions around concepts or examples that would aid in more clearly understanding the text. Ultimately, the purpose of the journals is to get you to start thinking about the work before we discuss it in class as well as making you more comfortable with the writing process through constant practice. Since the journals emphasize creative over critical thought, focus on getting ideas down on the page without worrying too much about how well-revised the grammar is.
